this is the premiere recording of the lost work "Suite for Barking Dog and Toy Piano" by prominent late romantic composer [REDACTED], among the first to experiment with the sonic possibilities of the Barking Dog. the manuscript presents interpretive difficulties; where the original notation was obscure or missing, liberties have been taken in order to maintain the work's distinctive structure. instruments have been freely substituted for other instruments where necessary, either due to prohibitive expense or because no such instrument ever existed
